Article Request - The article requests metric is comprised of multiple unique items; HTML requests, PDF requests, and HPrint requests. This is the most accurate statistic as to full articles viewed / downloaded / printed.
Page View - The page view is again comprised of the multiple unique items like the article request (HTML requests, PDF requests & HPrint requests). Page view counts the number actual content pages viewed / downloaded / printed regardless of any other metric. This is the most accurate stat to show how many overall pages of content have been viewed.
Session/Visit - A session is counted as a unique HeinOnline visit form a username and password or from a unique IP address based off of the individual session cookie. Each visit or session automatically times out after 30 minutes of inactivity.
