Officers elected for the 2005-2006 year were Karen Hopkins, President; Cathy Butler, Vice-President; Debbie Iverson, Secretary; and Isabel Hoy, Treasurer.
Bob Kalabus resigned because of health reasons and Mary Jayne Jordan was appointed to fill his seat.
During the year the following items developed and approved:
- Procedure to fill Board vacancies whether for expiration of terms of office or resignations.
- Membership application
- Mission statement
Other discussion items included an offer of financial assistance with the costs of the Legislative Luncheon speaker at the annual conference in Jackson and research into assisting with LSTA regional training funds, although neither was necessary at this time.
