Letters About Literature 2006 reading list

One of the great things about the Letters About Literature reading/writing contest is that students pick their own books. They're not assigned a book and asked for a report; instead, we ask them to think about the books that have touched them most deeply. Not surprisingly, they write to the authors of a wide range of literature.

So what were they reading in Wyoming this year? Here are the titles chosen by students who placed as semifinalists or higher in Wyoming's Letters About Literature 2006:

Level I - Grades 4-6

Level II - Grades 7-8

Level III - Grades 9-12
