Big Horn Basin hosts
conference in Powell
All school, public, college and special library staff are invited to the third Annual Big Horn Basin Library Conference on Saturday, April 27.
Sessions will be at Fagerberg 65, Northwest College; cost is $10.
Coffee and registration begins at 8:15 a.m., and the last session ends at approximately 4 p.m.
- Pat Wagner, co-owner of Pattern Research in Denver, will present a two-part program on “I’m Here to Help: Public Sector Customer Service (Or Why a Library Is Not a Bookstore);
- Jerry Krois, deputy state librarian, will present an update on the Wyoming State Library, and
- Steve Thulin will talk about libraries from a professor’s viewpoint.
Thulin is assistant professor of history at Northwest College and Wyoming Education Association’s Higher Education representative. WEA is providing lunch for librarians at the Student Center.
