Sweetwater County welcomes new director:
Holland who brings 16 years experience to job
Paul Holland officially became Sweetwater County Library System’s new executive director February 2002.
Holland has 16 years experience as director in the Idaho Falls Library System and is excited about the upcoming challenges in his new job.
Holland is married to a Wyoming native, Linda, and is the father of two sons. He received a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in library science from the University of Denver.
Looking to the future Holland said, “There are some things that need to be changed with the library’s current system.”
One of his goals is to “make the system work well, while keeping it cost effective.”
Although only in his role for one month, the new director acknowledges there are still some important aspects to explore.
“With three offices in the county, it is very important to get to know all the people and get familiar with what is going on in all three places,” he said.
