Wyoming Libraries Endowment Challenge

In March 2008, the Wyoming State Legislature passed the
Wyoming Library Endowment Challenge.
For every dollar that our Crook County Library Foundation raises,
the state legislature will match it 3-to-1.
They will match a maximum of $185,507 provided it is raised by December 2013.

Endowments are funds invested for perpetuity -- the principal amount can never be touched, only the interest can be used to benefit the Library.  It is an investment in the library into the uncertain future.  Please consider donating or making a pledge to the Crook County Library Foundation.  All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

News Around the Library System

Main branch, Sundance
The concert by Celtic guitarist Jerry Barlow was a smash hit!  Excellent!  We're now working on our cemetery walks for the summer -- Green Mountain in June, Mt Moriah in July, and Greenwood in August.  Kids & adults, watch for more information on our Summer Reading Program.

Moorcroft Branch Library
National Children's Book Week is May 7th thru the 12th.  Posters for the poster contest due May 11th.  Story hour will continue through the summer, however, after-school craft will end on May 23 & resume the first Wednesday after school starts in the fall.  Be sure to come in for the Summer Reading Program -- watch the paper for more information.  We will be having a Scholastic Book Fair and also an on-line fair this summer as well.  More information will be available soon.

Hulett Branch Library
